She sees what others miss.
Heather doesn’t simply see a wedding dress. She sees how a neckline frames you, where a seam should fall, how fabric should move and what can be refined to make a gown feel truly yours.
Her gift is not changing the woman in the mirror. It is helping her see the beauty that was already there.

Choosing Your Wedding Dress
Start with how you want to feel, not with a list of trends. Silhouette sets the proportions — the line of the skirt, where the waist sits, how a neckline frames you. Structure decides how a gown holds that shape: boning, lining and seam work matter as much as the lace on top. Fabric decides movement — how a train follows you, how a skirt behaves when you walk, sit and dance. A wedding gown is judged in motion, on your body, and that is exactly what a private appointment with Heather is built around.
When to Begin Looking
Order the gown first — everything else in the fitting schedule keys off its arrival. Plan for a first fitting once it’s in hand, a second closer to the date, and a final press before the day. Every gown is different, so rather than promising a universal deadline, we recommend starting early and letting the product page’s live stock by size — and a conversation with Heather — set your real timeline. Earlier is always safer than later.
Alterations and the Final Fit
Alterations are how a beautiful gown becomes your gown — hem, bodice, straps and bustle are all normal bridal work. Expert alterations available by appointment, in house at our Oconomowoc, Wisconsin boutique. If we’re shipping your gown out of state, any experienced bridal tailor can work from it; book them as soon as the gown arrives.

What sizes do the wedding dresses come in?
Sizing varies by designer — many styles run numeric sizes from 00 to 28, with extended sizing up to 8X on select styles. Each product page shows the exact size chart and live stock by size. Bridal sizing runs smaller than street sizing, so measure and use the chart rather than your usual number.
