Black and navy anchor the palette, with silver, emerald, champagne and sage behind them, and sizing runs standard through extended. Everything ships nationwide; in-house alterations are available by appointment in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Decoding the dress code

“Formal” covers a spectrum. If the event is seated, evening and ceremonial — think gala or awards night — floor length is the safe read: a ball gown, A-line or column from this wall. If it’s formal-but-social, a tea-length or dressy short style keeps you correct without overdressing. For invitations that say black tie specifically, floor length isn’t optional — that collection is curated to the code. When in doubt, longer: nobody remembers the guest who was slightly too formal.
